WANTED: YOUR GREAT IDEAS! Native Maine will be hosting our Fall Advisory Board Meeting on Monday, September 19, 2011 – YOU ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE!
What is the Native Maine Advisory Board? The Native Maine Produce Advisory Board (NMPAB) was chartered on January 2, 2006 to provide Native Maine Produce, LLC with timely, balanced, external advice on issues of importance to Maine's chef's and Maine-based restaurant and food service industries. The mission of the NMPAB is to provide impartial advice, information and recommendations to the owners and management of Native Maine Produce on new products, changing food fashions, trends and creative methods to better serve customers of Native Maine Produce. The members of the board offer a diverse and extensive reservoir of independent technical and practical culinary knowledge, formal hospitality education and hands on food service expertise. The board is focused on new product development and growth management. Much of its work is conducted through quarterly meetings.
Native Maine will be hosting an open advisory board meeting on Monday, September 19, 2011, 2-5pm in the 2nd floor conference room at Native Maine. This is your chance to visit and tour Native Maine, meet our staff and directly address the owners and managers of Native Maine to discuss your overall experiences with our company. We want to know how we can improve and what you think we can do to serve our customers better. All of this information is necessary to help guide Native Maine successfully into the future.
We have a core group of customers/members who regularly attend, however we welcome input from any current customer at this meeting. Feel free to bring a guest who may be interested in attending, as long as he/she works in the industry in a non-competitive function, therefore has an interest in seeing NMP succeed.
You can expect plenty of food samples for you to evaluate and we will, of course, provide some spirits for your enjoyment as well. We greatly appreciate your advice and time commitment that helps make these meetings happen! We are hoping for a strong turn out so please do whatever you can to be present for this meeting. Meeting Schedule: 2pm-3pm — Happy hour style informal gathering – Hors d'oeuvres and spirits served! 3pm-5pm — Informal round table open discussion about NMP services, products and marketing plans. Sincerely,
