Our facility operates eight custom temperature & humidity controlled zones that keep different produce items at their optimum temperatures for freshness on longevity for you. Our fleet of modern, refrigerated trucks is designed specifically to deliver fresh produce, not janitorial supplies!

Because produce is our # 1 business, we provide products for you in full case, ½ case and by the pound or “each” quantities. You never have to buy more product than you need, and Native Maine delivers daily – not just once or twice a week!  This means:

Native Maine has in-stock over 1,200 fresh produce items and constantly offers locally grown produce for you. The mega food distributors don’t have any where near our selection of fresh produce and certainly don’t work hard to support Maine farmers like Native Maine does.

Native Maine prices our fresh produce items daily based on national and regional market costs which constantly fluctuate. We guarantee that you always pay fair, updated commodity based prices for the freshest possible produce delivered by a locally owned and operated company with strong ties to Maine’s economy & charitable organizations.

A customer orders a case of green peppers from a Mega distributor for $19.00, because Native Maine has them for $21.00 and he/she thinks they are saving $2.00.

Fact: Unlike Native Maine, the mega distributors don’t normally guarantee their produce, so you are stuck with it.

He/she spends 10 minutes frustratingly sorting through the box and toss’s away 15% because the so-called “bargain’ peppers arrived tired.
