About Restaurant Week Maine

Restaurant Week Maine is a ten-day dining event. Dates are March 1 - 10, 2010. The event was created to encourage everyone to dine out more, especially during this slow time of year. During the event, participating restaurants serve specially priced, three course meals.

Restaurants are invited to serve lunches at $15.10 and dinners at either $20.10, $30.10 or $40.10. Restaurant Week Maine is advertised heavily in print, online and on the radio. This website is the place where foodies and curious diners, locals and visitors to Maine, come for information: who's participating, who's sponsoring menus, special events, etc. Restaurant Week Maine was started in 2009 by gBritt PR LLC. The team at gBritt with the support of the Maine Restaurant Association, Maine Office of Tourism and other participating contributing sponsors, like Native Maine, is responsible for event administration.

Native Maine Produce & Specialty Foods strongly supports the Maine hospitality industry and the hardworking men and women who have put Maine on the map as a culinary destination. Therefore we will work with local food producers to procure and distribute quality Maine food at a discount price to assist Restaurant Week Maine participating businesses.
